Water Research Fund for Southern Africa (WARFSA) - Project evalutation

The idea of establishing a Water Research Fund for Southern Africa (WARFSA) emerged out of the WaterNet initiative, a regional network for education, training and research in the SADC region, established in 1997. Leading WaterNet representatives approached Sida for support. Sida responded positively because the idea was consistent with the aims of the Swedish Initiative for Support of Sustainable Management of Water Resources in Southern Africa, and for other reasons.
