The Farmer Group Empowerment (FGE) Component of the Land Management and Conservation Farming Programme in Zambia

The evaluation was about the Farmer Group Empowerment component of the Land Management and Conservation Farming programme. Findings: The delivery of services in terms of achieving targets for the overall project was between 56-76,5 %. The output of agricultural extension staff in LM & CF areas being motivated and able to promote farmer to farmer based extension system was achieved. Leadership was developed in FGE camps and women´s participation in leadership roles was at 43 %. There was an increase in farmer participation in group management and other development activities.
