The European Community's External Actions

The European Union provides more than half of world official development assistance and is the main trading partner of most developing countries. The EUs external actions have tremendous potential to influence the lives of the millions of people living in poverty around the world. As a member of the EU, and in view of its profound engagement and extensive experience in development issues, Sweden has the obligation, responsibility and ambition to be an constructive supporter of the European Commission.
