After the disaster hurricane Mitch Sida granted SEK 30 million during the years 1999 2000 for the rebuilding of houses, infrastructure etc. The evaluation team visited a number of co-operatives and associations and the evaluation also included several comprehensive interviews with the people responsible for the project, the economic administrators at SCC and local government.
