Sida's Performance Analyses - Quality and Use

Sida commissioned the Swedish National Financial Management Authority to do the third assessment of quality and usefulness of Sida's Performance Analyses, which constitutes an input for orienting the revision of a Country Strategy for Swedish Development Co-operation. The report is written, based on a desk study, comprising ten different countries/regions. It concludes that many of the performance analyses have a level of description that is too detailed and should rather be written on a more overall level. The quality of the analyses varies and therefore the report recommends Sida to improve on methodological skills concerning results analyses.
