Policies in the Kenyan Health care sector - Why are they so difficult to implement?

The purpose of this study is to explain some of the divergence between policy objectives and implementation of policies in the Kenyan health care sector. Next, this report gives some background information about health and social indicators in Kenya. Then, a brief description of policies and objectives in the health sector and evidence on the rate of implementation of these policies is presented.
