Nicaragua: Pobreza, Problemo Postergado

This report evaluates the experiences of the elaboration and implementaton of the poverty reduction strategy (PRS) in Nicaragua. It also focus on the political, economical and social development in 2005-2006. Another topic in the report is the changes in the structure of systems of downward accountability (accountability of government to the public and civil society) at the national and local level in the last 5 years. The status of donor coordination and aid modalities is also described.
