Midterm review of the empower private sector project

The MTR of Empower PS considers how successful the project has been to date inaddressing the pre-conditions for growth of small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) and the opportunities which have been leveraged by Empower PS to improvetheir competitiveness and productivity. It also considers how to increase employmentand strengthen the enabling environment around enterprise development. A particularemphasis is placed on reviewing all gender aspects of the implementation ofEmpower PS and to a lesser extent the impact of vocational training provided throughgrants to training providers. A brief assessment of other cross-cutting issues such asthe environment is also provided.
