One of the priority areas of Swedens development cooperation in the health sector is that of young peoples reproductive and sexual health and rights (YRSHR), in themselves important parts of the broader struggle against HIV/AIDS. India is the most important country where HIV/AIDS has not yet reached pandemic proportions and where a preventive awareness-building program can have the largest impact.
