Evaluation of the support to NIR for the Palestinian International Business Forum 2008–2010

The evaluation finds that the strength of PIBF is in the overall relevance of their objectives and activities to the conflict environment. However, the efficiency and effectiveness of PIBF in carrying out these activities and their impact is so far limited. The evaluation finds that the relevance of outputs from PIBF to their objectives is strong. PIBF are consistent with the development strategy of Sida and the Palestinian Authority. The PIBF platform is acknowledged by both Palestinian and Israeli institutions as relevant in supporting cross-border co-operation and confidence building.
