Apoyo Sueco a la Policía Nacional de Nicaragua 2002-2005

The evaluation is based on the Project´s logical framework and includes an assessment of the project relevance, results and sustainability, as well as its management. The conclusion is that the objectives and the project results have been achieved to a high degree. The report offers a set of recommendations regarding operative and strategic issues that will serve as inputs for a proposal for a new phase of the project. Main lessons learned dealt with the importance of leadership, participative methods and communication to promote institutional changes and the need for specific indicators for crosscutting issues.
