Sida’s support to United Nations Organisations

In 2018, United Nations (UN) organisations together received SEK 8.3 billion from Sida, a third of Sida’s overall development cooperation budget. Sida’s cooperation with UN organisations has increased significantly over the last decade. UN is an important partner in development work as well as in humanitarian assistance. The main cooperation partners among UN agencies are UNDP, UNICEF, FAO, UNFPA, UNOCHA, WHO and WFP.
