Sida’s Multi-bi Support

A considerable share of Sida’s development cooperation is channelled through multilateral organisations and the EU. Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs decides on core support to the regular budget of these organisations while Sida manages the main part of the multi-bi support. In 2022, Sida disbursed more than SEK 9.7 billion through multilateral partners which corresponds to 41 % of Sida’s total disbursements.
