Sammanfattning
This evaluation presents the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sweden’s Strategy for Development Cooperation with Bolivia 2021-2025. The assessment of the relevance, effectiveness and cost-efficiency of the strategy implementation is based on a portfolio analysis of 35 contributions with focus on a sample of 15 interventions. The findings demonstrate a high level of relevance of the strategy implementation and a high level of achieving expected outcomes, or likelihood to achieve the same. The evaluation assesses the design of the strategy, and the selection of partners and contributions in the current portfolio as coherent with the current development policy of the Swedish government. It responds well to areas in the Reform Agenda where Sweden has a comparative advantage and is known as a champion based on its expertise. Several features in the current portfolio would be relevant to keep as they visualise Sweden as a strategic donor, e.g., in the areas of transformative gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, environment and climate change and sustainable and inclusive market
initiatives with the private sector.
