Implementation of the 1999-2003 Country Strategy for Swedish Development Co-operation with Vietnam

What happens after the five-year country strategy paper has been approved? How is that strategy translated by Sida into strategic decisions for projects and programmes, for dialogue activities with partner organisations, and for the allocation of Sida's administrative resources? These are the main questions investigated by this evaluation of the 1999-2003 country strategy for Vietnam, based on a case study of the co-operation in the areas of democratic governance, rural development and the environment, and private sector development and trade.
