When: Friday, 16 September 2016
Time: 13.30-15.30 (Registration and coffee from 13.00)

What constitutes best development policy and practice? The thinking on development policy has changed a lot over the last few decades – prompted by major crises, such as the financial crisis of 2008, and an ongoing global slowdown. In partnership with the World Bank, Sida invites you to a public seminar where world-leading economists will reflect on development in today’s uncertain global economy.

Hear Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz and current and former Chief Economists at the World Bank, Kaushik Basu, Francois Bourguignon, and Justin Lin.

Welcome!

The event is free of charge. Register by Tuesday 13 September 2016.

Moderator: Mia Horn af Rantzien, CEO, SNS Center for Business and Policy Studies.
