The Evaluability of Democracy and Human Rights Projects
Sida Studies in Evaluation
ITAD Ltd in association with the Overseas Development Institute
A logframe-related assessment Support for democracy and human rights (D/HR) has played an increasingly important role in Sida's co-operation with developing countries ever since the early 1990s. Yet there is a considerable lack of reliable information on the impact of the Agency's D/HR initiatives. This evaluability assessment has the dual purposes of producing lessons on (a) useful methods for D/HR impact evaluation, and (b) good practices for the planning and implementation of D/HR projects. The study is complemented with a Management Response.
