Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive at Sida Partnership Forum.

Who may apply to attend a course?

Swedish actors in international development cooperation and their field staff, i.e. personnel from Swedish government agencies, civil society organisations as well as the private sector may apply. It is not possible to register for a course as a private person. A contact person from your organisation must sponsor your application.

How much does a course cost?

The Swedish actors involved in the courses have access to training facilities and accommodation. In most cases Sida covers accommodation and meals. Personnel from the participating organisations need only cover their travel costs.

Is it possible to apply for a grant or scholarship?

No, Sida Partnership Forum does not offer any grants or sponsorships.

When will I know if my application has been accepted?

Information about application status will be sent to all applicants shortly after the last registration date.

When will I receive the course schedule?

Schedules are generally sent a few weeks before the course start.

What should I do if I cannot attend a course?

Notify the programme administrator as soon as possible if you cannot attend. If the cancellation is received five worksdays or less before the course start the participating organisation will be charged for incurred costs.

If I can’t participate for the whole course, who should I contact?

Contact the programme administrator and explain your situation. Contact information is provided with each course.
