The idea with the conference is to stimulate clean tech an green solutions for sustainable development. As well as inspire and connect global partners to new markets and relationships.

At Sida Partnership Forum during the green solutions week partners may exchange experiences, develop ideas and create synergies for collaboration. The potential in Sweden for Green Solutions and Clean Tech Business is enormous as well as the need for better products and solutions globally.

What will happen in May in Härnösand?

Sida Partnership Forum in close connection with Swentec, Clean Tech Region, Arena Miljölänet Västernorrland and Technichus will arrange several seminars with international Key Note Speakers, a Green Fair for Green Solutions and Technichus opens a new exhibition about a sustainable world - Kretshopp, which later on will tour all over Scandinavia.

What is new?

More countries are now able to manage without traditional aid and want to develop new relationships. Thus we are investing even more in Partner Driven Cooperation, which builds on mutual interests and shared responsibilities – and can lead to long-term, self-sustaining relations. The objective is to create a “win-win-win” situation whereby three groups benefit: the people in poverty, those participating in projects in partner countries and those involved in Sweden.

How is the work organized?

Partner Driven Cooperation is based on the partners own initiatives and mutual interest in cooperating. Sida's country teams are responsible for seeing to it that the concept is launched in their respective countries.  We are prioritising countries where Swedish aid is now changing. Indonesia, India, China, Vietnam, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and with a special focus even on Iraq and Serbia.
