Finacial information: Each organization covers the cost of transportation to and from Härnösand. For members of Swedish NGOs and their local partners, Sida will cover venue, meals and other costs related to the course. Participants from other European and international organizations will need to pay actual cost for lodging and meals. All Sida personnel fall under normal travel regulations.
Target group:
Those persons working in the different forms of Swedish supported partnerships in international development cooperation.
Objective:
The course deals with current Swedish and international steering do cuments that are relevant for Swedes and their international partners. Different paradigms that have influenced modern international development cooperation will becovered. Discussions of how those paradigms are the basis of understanding of new forms of cooperations and perspectives. The course will give an overall understanding of the Swedish Policy for Coherence and new aid architecture. New methods and tools covering perspectives like, gender, climate and environment, anti-corruption, Hiv/aids, conflict management and humanitarian work are taken up.
