Sweden has supported a range of Air Quality Management (AQM) activities in Southeast Asia. This evaluation assesses a AQM programme in Thailand during 1990-1999, with a Swedish contribution of 72.5 man-months of consultant inputs and SEK 16 300 000 of financial inputs, and a Thai contribution of over BAHT 500 000 000 from the Thai Government. The main objective was to develop a AQM- and monitoring system in Thailand. This evaluation assesses the programme and provides a number of recommendations for future AQM projects.This report should be read in conjunction with an later AQM evaluation from Manila, the Philippines (Bower and Larssen, October 2004), and Sidas Management Response.
