    Private Sector Development

    Sida supports private sector development in Bosna and Hercegovina within different levels of the society. On the governmental level, support is given to development of a legal and regulatory framework conducive for a poverty reducing private sector.

    Return of Refugees - Integrated area programs

    Sida supports the return process directly through so called Integrated Area Programs (IAP). They include providing building material for housing, minor infrastructure repairs, agricultural support and strenthening of local democracy. So far, around 60 000 people have been assisted to return through the Sida funded IAPs.

    Social Sector and Culture

    Swedens support to traumatised people and war victims later turned into the promotion of a mental health reform with focus on community psychiatry. Through the Swedish organisation Cultural Heritage without Borders, Sida supports project to restore cultural heritage objects, destroyed during the war, in co-operation with national aand local institutions.
