Sida and other donors are phasing out the assistance to social reforms in Moldova and will together with Moldovan partners evaluate the impact of the reforms and the assistance to provide lessons learnt to partners who continue working in the sector. Sida’s Moldova and Georgia Team is together with UTV leading the evaluation. Moldovan and donor partners will actively participate through reference and consultation groups. The evaluation will especially target ownership and sustainability of the reforms.
Purpose: Learning from impacts of long term development cooperation in the social sector, and for phasing out in a responsible manner ensuring sustainability of results.
