Regional Report 2006. Monitoring and Evaluation of Poverty Reduction Strategies in Latin America / This report evaluates the experiences of the elaboration and implementation of the poverty reduction strategy (PRS) in Bolivia, Honduras and Nicaragua. The regional report compares the situation between the three countries. The focus is on the objectives of the PRS process: 1. What the PRS process has meant for poverty reduction policies. 2. Whether the PRS process has managed to strengthen downward accountability systems, which could help ensure a long-term government commitment to poverty reduction. 3. What has happened with respect to harmonization, alignment, and aid modalities
