Gender Tool Box

Published: 25 September 2015 Updated: 10 November 2016

Sida's Gender Tool Box provides knowledge, tools and inspiration on how to operationalize gender equality in Swedish development cooperation. A solid knowledge and method base is more important than ever due to an increased focus on gender equality in development cooperation, in Sweden and globally.

The Gender Tool Box highlights areas where we see a need for thematic method support and guidance. It is not only useful for Sida staff but also for our partners and other stakeholders.
The Gender Tool Box includes three different kinds of materials: Tools, Briefs and Thematic Overviews. The development context is constantly changing, and new priorities arise. Look out for new briefs, tools and thematic overviews as we update the Gender Tool Box.
