The Environmental Lens is a method to help organisations to be relevant and efficient in a changing world by considering how the organisation impacts on the environment and how the environment influences its work.

Costs: For members of Swedish NGOs and their local partners, Sida will cover participation, full board and lodging. Each place of work covers the cost of transportation to and from Härnösand incl. cost for VISA and a travel- and health insurance.
 
Description: The Environmental Lens is a creative method that will help you analyse a program/project/organisation from an environmental perspective. The method consists of a tool in the shape of a plus and simple brainstorming exercises. If you use the Environmental Lens, and act on the result, you can expect more sustainable and well-thought projects and programs.

International Training Programmes

As part of Sida's work with capacity and institutional development Sida offers international training programmes (ITP) for participants from low-and middle-income countries in priority areas. ITP's methodology takes account of the desire to develop and reform that the participants' organization have expressed in their application to the program.
