Sida Partnership Forum Courses

Training courses are a key part of Sida Partnership Forum’s activities. Courses encompass a wide range of topics, while course lecturers are among the most knowledgeable experts in their fields in the country.

In addition to our regular course programme, we also customise programmes by request. For special events, Sida Partnership Forum can provide facilities, speakers, and assistance in arranging the course programme. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance in arranging special courses. Sida Partnership Forum courses are not provided for private individuals; all applications must be submitted through your employer. Courses are usually two to five days long. Participants evaluate each course upon completion.

Courses

In 2013, Sida Partnership Forum both offers a fixed range of courses to meet the overall skills needs and needs-based courses that are created on demand in cooperation with the actors. In order to better meet the specific needs, the fixed range of courses has been reduced.

ATHA- Advanced Training for Humanitarian Action

ATHA (Advanced Training Program on Humanitarian Action) is a collaboration between Sida and the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University, which includes both introductory courses and specialized courses for a diverse audience of humanitarian operations.

Report on Sida's results: Democracy, Human Rights and Human Rights based approach

A shortened version of Sida's Results Appendix to our Annual Report 2011. Describes results of activities focusing mainly on democratic development and greater respects for human rights as well as how the human rights approach is applied.

International Training Programmes

As part of Sida's work with capacity and institutional development Sida offers international training programmes (ITP) for participants from low-and middle-income countries in priority areas. ITP's methodology takes account of the desire to develop and reform that the participants' organization have expressed in their application to the program.
