About Sida Partnership Forum

Sida Partnership Forum welcomes representatives from the business community, state authorities, public sector, academia, and civil society. Our work focuses on capacity building activities such as workshops, seminars, and courses our training courses regularly arranged in Härnösand, Sweden and abroad, and seminars on fighting poverty that we periodically arrange throughout Sweden. We also participate in conferences on development work in Sweden and abroad.

An important part of Sida Partnership Forum’s activities is to create arenas and meeting places to focus on priority issues and create synergies between the involved parties

International Training Programmes, ITP

Sida’s International Training Programmes are open to candidates from most low- and middle income countries. The aim is to support and strengthen the participants own plans for change on organizational and sectoral levels and should not be regarded as individual competence training.

Training courses

Our training campus in Härnösand is at the heart of Sida Partnership Forum’s work. Our course listings cover a wide range of topics, and our lecturers rank among the most knowledgeable in the country in their fields.

Report on Sida's results: Democracy, Human Rights and Human Rights based approach

A shortened version of Sida's Results Appendix to our Annual Report 2011. Describes results of activities focusing mainly on democratic development and greater respects for human rights as well as how the human rights approach is applied.

International Training Programmes

As part of Sida's work with capacity and institutional development Sida offers international training programmes (ITP) for participants from low-and middle-income countries in priority areas. ITP's methodology takes account of the desire to develop and reform that the participants' organization have expressed in their application to the program.
