As a representative of the private sector you are important to us. Sida offers various financial mechanisms to support private sector initiatives. We also offer support and advice on cooperation with selective countries for mutual benefit and interest.

Sida forms partnerships with companies and private sector organisations that contribute to economic, social and environmentally sustainable development throughout their activities, production processes and value chains. Companies should strive to align with the UN Global Compact principles  and demonstrate openness to external review.

International Training Programmes

As part of Sida's work with capacity and institutional development Sida offers international training programmes (ITP) for participants from low-and middle-income countries in priority areas. ITP's methodology takes account of the desire to develop and reform that the participants' organization have expressed in their application to the program.
