Direct funding

Direct funding to companies

Sida’s direct support to companies is often given via our cooperation partners. Swedish companies can get support via Swedfund and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. Companies from other countries can get support via Swedfund and various programmes organised by our cooperation partners

One program that may be of interest to foreign companies, and which is run directly by Sida, is Partner-driven cooperation.

Partner-driven cooperation at Sida

Sida’s remit includes encouraging cooperation between companies, institutions, governments and civil society organisations in Sweden and abroad. Sida’s focus will be on programs in China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Serbia. Partner-driven cooperation is a programme that offers a degree of support – either in terms of know-how and contacts, or by limited financial support – in order to help establish a partnership.

Participant-led cooperation covers research partnerships, corporate projects, or partnerships between government agencies.
