Marie Ottosson is Acting Director-General of Sida during the month of October 2016. Lennart Båge will be the Acting Director-General from November 2016.

Marie Ottosson is Sida's Acting Director-General during October 2016. In November she will return to being Acting Deputy Director-General.

Joachim Beijmo is Head of the Director-General's Office.

The Director-General's Office

The Director-General has the ultimate responsibility for implementing government and parliament decisions and for resolving overall issues regarding Sida's organisation. The main mission for the Director-General's Office is to be responsible for the overall coordination of the agency's activities and provide strategic support in the daily work of the Director-General and Deputy Director-General. 

The team is also responsible for the overall coordination of Sida's dialogue with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Chief Controller function, the independent function for corruption investigation and Sida's whistle-blowing function. The Director-General's Office also ensures an adequate internal control.
